After graduating as an athletic therapist in Canada and becoming head therapist for many national sports teams, Mike decided to study physiotherapy to expand his knowledge and skills set. Subsequently he travelled to Australia and graduated from Bond University with a Doctorate in Physiotherapy. During the program he completed extensive training across many settings including public hospitals, community services, and private practices. Mike also published a research article concerning the biomechanics of water sports. He is heavily involved with team sports himself and plays recreational basketball and soccer during free time.

From a physiotherapy perspective his interests include treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries throughout all age groups. In particular he is passionate about promotion of individualised exercise programs to help people get back to full potential, including the use of hydrotherapy and gym exercises.

Hailing from North Queensland, Corey’s first experience of physiotherapy was as a patient receiving treatment for numerous injuries whilst training for representative soccer and atheltics (100m, 200m, 400m) through-out High School in Mackay, it was these sessions that sparked a passion for a career in physiotherapy.

Graduating from the University of Queensland in 2013 and now with over 5 years of experience in Aged Care/Community/Musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Corey first started working around the South Brisbane region providing aged care and community services. However a passion for surfing soon uprooted him from Brisbane bringing him to the beautiful Tweed Coast in 2014.

With a keen interest in sports physiotherapy Corey has provided services for local and representative teams, elite athletes and weekend warriors in Brisbane/Gold Coast/Tweed Coast regions and most recently as the team physio for Mens and Womens Open divisions at Coolangatta Tweed AFL club. His main interests are acute/chronic musculoskeletal injuries, Sports Specific Rehabilitation & Injury Prevention, Falls prevention & Hydrotherapy. He also has interests in Mixed Martial Arts, Rugby Union/League & American Football.

Having grown up on the Southern Gold Coast, Brenna has been involved in the local sporting communities for many years as a member of Currumbin Surf Life Saving Club, as well as playing Netball and Touch Football. Her years in Surf Life Saving sparked a passion for injury management, and was drawn to Physiotherapy as a way to turn this passion into a career.

Brenna is a strong believer in taking a holistic approach to treatment. This involves using a combination of manual therapy, personalised exercise prescription, advice and education regarding injury prevention and self-management. Brenna has an interest in managing a mixture of Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, and Neurological conditions. Her developing areas of special interest include ankle injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, falls prevention, and the use of Pilates Exercises in injury management.
